Dr Rosalyn | Let's Go!

Most people do not get a chance to travel nearly as much as they would like to do so.  I've been very lucky to figure out how to get where I want to cheaply several times over the last few years.  My passport is not at all full but definitely not as empty as it had been the previous fifteen years.  Above is one of my favorite photos from the first time I went to Amsterdam, and alone at that, as an adult.  The city is beautiful, the water is soothing in ways that I cannot fully explain in this snippet and the food, culture and people are kind of amazing. 

After learning about a retirement community during my initial trip to The Netherlands, I came back to campus and pitched the idea of our department taking students abroad.  Fast forward two years, lots of negotiations and wringing of hands later and we're almost at a point where we can say that students will get to experience not only Amsterdam but Vienna and London as well.  Get your passports ready and only ask for cash for all gifting holidays because we're definitely going exploring.
