Dr. Rosalyn | Life is Always in Motion

Another semester has come to a close, grades are in and we have made it through another warm graduation.  I did move to short sleeves this year but still was wearing pants.  Next year I may need to go to shorts with some cute boots to hide my legs.  Another group of students have left the fold and another group has room to grow as they join us.   I'm in the middle of finalizing final costs for the study abroad trip, looking over applications for the MA program, setting up the orientation for the MA program, prepping my summer classes and something else related to the MA program that I'm probably forgetting about because that is my life right now.

I got some good professional news which will assist the students who can go with us in the spring.  Waiting to hear if I got some other good news that will be for those students as well.  I was notified that I was the favorite professor ever by some of our grads and handed out my stash of magic wands for those that would need them in the future.  I also got to hand our student of the year award to one of the sweetest and hardworking students I've ever had and connect another to a job opportunity that will benefit us both.

Things are always slightly busy and chaotic but it's a good busy and chaotic--until July.  I'm sleeping all of July.  I paid a few bills today, confirmed what I need to do in order to adjust my insurance for supervision purposes, bought myself an early (I hope) promotion gift that won't happen until after I know I got promoted, confirmed a few more things for mom, and planted some flowers.  If they sprout up I will share cause the only ones that are like hey look at me are the peppermint plant and the money tree.  Very green but not very interesting.  We'll have to wait for the red velvet lilies, purple and white calla lilies and the deep purple Asiatic lily.

I'll be sure to share later.  For now I need to send the email I forgot to send earlier.
