I'm not sure if I've ever fully gone into the intricacies of the joint MA program I'm working in now.  And for the sake of brevity I won't really now.  I will say that an issue keeps popping up that is an unnecessary distraction and making 2/3 of the program, myself included, frustrated because we have tabled, buried, agreed to move on and whatever other euphemisms you can come up with for let the issue go.  Of course it reared its head again on Monday and after speaking with all of my folks on campus was assured they were behind me yet again and would move to have this issue done and over with yet again.  That seems to be the case again which was good to hear but I'm sure that the body that keeps pushing for it will come back at it from a different angle and I will probably have to use my angry professional voice to make sure we all understand that I'm super done with this for the last time and well fall back on the agreement we put in place two years ago to help them see their way to new pastures.

But more importantly for me.  We held our first fundraiser for the trip.  We raised about what I thought we might given the venue which wasn't a ton but will be given to our students as evenly as possible.  Two more dine to donates, one and a half more t-shirt fundraisers and all the begging I can undertake.  We'll see how it goes but I want everyone that wants to go to be able to go.  Have a good weekend all.
